Details: Deborah, the winner of the RTL casting show “Wanns de eppes kanns”, presents her highly anticipated debut album “Standing Memories” on March 15 at the Melusina in Luxembourg-Clausen at 21:00 (doors open 20:30).
The Luxembourgish pop artist, who sings and plays the piano since a very young age, rose to fame in 2011 when she won the RTL casting show “Wanns de eppes kanns”. With a stunning performance of Alicia Keys’ hit-single “Empire State of Mind”, she showcased her talent and her powerful voice. In the wake of her success, she released, in June 2011, her first single “My Band”. Being an instant success, “My Band” topped the RTL and iTunes Luxembourg charts. Her second single “Sorry Babe”, featuring the Luxembourgish rapper eXemo, followed in November 2011.
After a break of two years, during which she focused on songwriting and recording, Deborah is now back with her debut album “Standing Memories”. Besides her two previous singles, the album features eight brand new songs that point out a change in her musical direction: from teen pop to a more adult pop style, the singer draws inspiration from different musical styles.
