Details: The Sonic Visions Music Conference and Showcase Festival is taking place at Rockhal in Esch-Belval on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 November 2013.
The 6th anniversary edition of SONIC VISIONS includes a conference dedicated to all who share the experience of being involved in the music industry no matter at what level. BUT it's mainly about discovering new exciting bands. So get ready for two days of fresh new music.
The festival concert line-up includes Sigur Ros (Iceland), Girls in Hawaii (Belgium), Dear Reader (South Africa), Mutiny on the Bounty (Luxembourg), OK Kid (Germany), Synthesis (Luxembourg), Frightened Rabbit (Scotland), Natas Loves You (Luxembourg), Bottled in England (Copenhagen, Denmark), I Break Horses, Alvin and Lyle (Luxembourg), Antimatter People, We Are Match,...
The Sonic Visions Music Conference programme include a number of different topics: digital distribution, revenue streams, copyright, direct-to-fan, DIY strategies, artist management...
All these topics, to name but a few, will be tackled during numerous panels featuring high-profile international music professionals, including (amongst others): Keith Harris (former General Manager of Motown and still manager of Stevie Wonder); Tim Renner (CEO of Motor Entertainment); Jake Beaumont-Nesbitt (Executive director at IMMF); Michael Bisping (Managing Director - A.S.S. Concerts & Promotion GmbH); Tim Böning (CEO - Der Bomber der Herzen GmbH & CO KG); Matthias Brinkmann (Head Of Sales Promotion - Believe Digital); Henning Dietz (Founder and director of Neu Management LTD), and many more.
The event also includes an awards ceremony for the best music videos made in Luxembourg, to take place on Saturday 23 November during the Sonic Visions Music Conference and Showcase Festival at the Rockhal.
