Details:  ETK asbl, in partnership with SAKURA Initiative asbl, is organising an event entitled "How education can boost adaptive and innovative capacity?" on 17 October 2013 from 18:15 to 19:30.

In the unstable economic and social environment of today, people must be equipped to deal with change in terms of “capacity to respond” rather than only “rules for action”. By “capacity” is implied “capacity to deliver” … not skills and qualifications. Students who adopt and develop the right mindsets early in their professional career are able to bring about a positive and sustainable change in their overall personality. They become more responsible to society at large, and capable of helping companies to redesign their business around lifestyles, human goals and societal purposes.

This is the basement of the ILLUMINE concept, that has been designed by Srinivas Venkatram since 1996. The ILLUMINE research lab was founded in 1998 in Mumbai as an independent and private entity staffed with 30 engineers, mathematicians, education scientists, anthropologists and architects. They have worked with prestigious academic institutes like The Gujarat Technological University or the Pune Engineering College in India, but also with major Indian companies like the Bahrat Petroleum Corporation, the Birla Group or the State Bank of India.

ETK (Enablement through Knowledge) asbl and SAKURA Initiative asbl are inviting Srinivas Venkatram to present for the first time in Europe the ILLUMINE concept.

Venue: BGL BNP Paribas, Avenue Monterey, Luxembourg city (entrance via Rue Notre Dame)
