The Indian Association Luxembourg (IAL) is organising the eleventh edition of India Day at Place Guillaume II (Knuedler) in Luxembourg-Ville on Sunday 13 September 2026, starting at 11:00.
The event is organised by the IAL with the support of the City of Luxembourg (VdL) and the Embassy of India.
Visitors will be able to explore Indian culture, cuisine, music and traditions, with highlights including: Indian food stalls; classical, Bollywood and folk dance performances; Punjabi Dhol music; an Indian DJ; mehendi (henna art); artwork and community stalls; and live Indian and rock music featuring a Luxembourgish-Indian band. The programme will also include family-friendly activities for visitors of all ages.
According to the organisers, the annual event aims to highlight Indian heritage while promoting cultural exchange and strengthening Indo-Luxembourg ties.
Entry is free and the event is open to all.
