Hailing from Guapi in Colombia's Pacific region, Alberto Caicedo offered invited to offer his unique perspective as an Afro-Colombian artist whose work has evolved across Colombia and Europe.
“For me, music is a way of creating connections between people and cultures,” said Alberto Caicedo. “The experience in Kenya was deeply inspiring, and I am very happy to return to Luxembourg and share that energy with the public at Place d’Armes.”
Caicedo has enjoyed a long career in the European Latin music scene as a singer, pianist, percussionist and bandleader. His recent work marks a renewed focus on his own music and orchestra, combining Colombian roots with strong musicianship to create an energetic, highly danceable live show.
