Details:
On Sunday 5 July 2026, the JP Morgan City Jogging will take place, organised by the Luxembourg Athletics Federation with logistical and sporting support from the City of Luxembourg (VdL). In order to ensure the smooth running of the event, traffic and municipal bus services will be adapted for the duration of the race.
Traffic arrangements
The route taken by the runners in the JP Morgan City Jogging will be closed to all traffic from 08:00. Residents will be able to access or leave their homes by following the direction of the race.
The course is as follows:
Rue Léon Hengen, rue Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, avenue John F. Kennedy, rue des Coquelicots, rue des Muguets, rue Jules Wilhelm, rue du Fort Olisy, rue Sosthène Weis, rue Saint Ulric, rue St Quirin, Pétrusse Valley, rue de la Semois, boulevard F.D. Roosevelt, rue Philippe II, city centre, rue des Capucins, Pescatore Park, Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge, avenue John F. Kennedy, Trois Glands, rue du Fort Thüngen, rue des Coquelicots, avenue John F. Kennedy (cycle lane and crossing at the level of rue Erasme).
The streets will be progressively reopened to traffic from 12.30. All restrictions will be lifted by around 14:00.
