On Sunday 5 July 2026, the British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg (BCC) has announced the return of its annual cricket event against the Optimists Cricket Club (OCC), scheduled to take place in Walferdange.
The family friendly afternoon will include a cricket match, food and drinks, children’s activities and opportunities for guests to learn and practise cricket.
The programme will begin at 13:00 with welcome drinks, followed by the main cricket match between the BCC and OCC at 14:00. Cricket practice nets will remain available throughout the afternoon, with the event expected to conclude around 17:00 or 17:30 with a prize presentation for the winning team.
Food and drinks will be available throughout the event, while tea and cakes supplied by “Think Pink” will support fundraising activities for charity. A bouncy castle and beginner cricket activities will also be available for children and families.
Participation is free for BCC members.
