Details: The Museum Dräi Eechelen will become a Living Museum the week-end of 14-15 September 2013.

No less than 60 actors will be dressed in costume and will act out characters from European history, in the time of Jean, Baron de Beck, governor and Captain-General of the Duchy of Luxembourg. Take travel back in time to 1643, the date of the taking of Thionville by French troops, and discover soldiers, women and children during the 30-Year War.

In addition, there will be various activities and entertainments, including games, demonstratios of historical cooking, bivouacing, Spanish regiments and their animals, the art of 17th century warfare, including infantry, cavalry, artillery, etc.

Times: Saturday 14 September from 10:00 - 19:00; Sunday 15 Septemberfrom 10:00 - 17:00.
