The British and Irish Film Festival Luxembourg (BIFFL) will host its final screening of 2025 with the family film “The Penguin Lessons”, on Sunday 14 December 2025 at 11:00 at Kinepolis-Kirchberg.
The screening, in collaboration with Kinepolis and Ciné Utopia, will be in English with English subtitles.

Synopsis: Inspired by actual events, the engaging comedy drama stars Steve Coogan as a disillusioned English teacher who goes to work in an exclusive boys boarding school in a divided Argentina in 1976; he finds his life transformed when he rescues an orphaned penguin from the beach and adopts it. With the country on the eve of a political revolution and military coup that brought down Isabel Peron, the penguin changes people when it unexpectedly comes into their lives. A delightful and heartfelt family film ideal for the holiday season.
