As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, the Optimists Cricket Club (OCC) will welcome the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) for a match on Saturday 6 June 2026, at the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange.
According to the OCC, the match will be followed by an evening of food, drink, music and more.
The club invites members (existing and past), supporters and friends of the club to join them on this date.

Formed in 1976, the Optimists Cricket Club is the largest cricket club in Luxembourg and plays at the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange. It was a founder member of the Belgian Cricket Federation league.
