The British & Irish Film Festival Luxembourg 2025 Spring Edition has announced that it is including a SHORTS EVENING on Wednesday 19 March 2025 at 18:30 at the Cinémathèque.
PROGRAMME
Welcome address
Keynote (on the topic of making films) by Paul Thiltges, renowned Luxembourgish producer and distributor
Three short films:
- Dear Imelda (17 mins), with Árón Holden (director) and Declan Curran (actor) in attendance
- Give Him Time (13 mins)
- the 2023/24 winner's subsequent documentary: Being Human, by Noah Piff and Sylvain De Bel (10 mins)

Excerpts of all films will be screened, as well as the Winners in their entirety

The 2nd edition of the Young Filmmakers Competition (2024/25) attracted a total of twelve submissions from six secondary schools in Luxembourg:

- Beautiful Boy by Cathy Diagne (International School at Differdange, EIDE)

- Runaway by Daria Gorchakova (ISL)
- On the Other Side by Antoine Merkling, Andrei Ionescu, Evan Knel & Edgar Portal (Lycée Vauban)
