Details: Los Angeles' indie rockers Local Natives toured as support for The National and Arcade Fire in the past and finally, with their current release Hummingbird, following the debut Gorilla Manor in 2009, they have firmly become a headliner in their own right, with soaring harmonies, chanting and lots of percussion. The band sounds bolder now, brighter and more confident as ever before. Just as if somebody told them they're playing in the same league as Fleet Foxes or Grizzly Bear... and they really do! The band are capable of hitting emotional peaks with a power to leap out and grab you.
