The 2023 Servais Prize Award ceremony for Jérôme Quiqueret’s book Tout devait disparaître (Everything had to disappear), published by capybarabooks, will take place on Monday, 3 July 2023, at 19:30 at the Centre National de Littérature (CNL) in Mersch.
Its initiator, the Servais Foundation for Luxembourg literature chaired by Emmanuel Servais, financed this prize, endowed with €6,000. Since 1992, the Servais Prize has rewarded the most significant literary work published during the previous year.
Bernard Thomas will deliver the eulogy. Jérôme Quiqueret will deliver his acceptance speech and read excerpts from his prize-winning book. The jury for the Prix Servais 2023 is made up of: its president, Sébastian Thiltges, Simone Beck, Fabienne Gilbertz, Odile Linden, Henning Marmulla, Pierre Marson, Alex Reuter, Shari Schenten and Aimée Schultz. The evening will be melodically accompanied by the author, composer and performer Baptiste W. Hamon.
A reception offered by the Servais Foundation will close the ceremony.
