Details: The British Chamber of Commerce has annoucned details of the first BCC World Café event that is taking place on Wednesday 5 June 2013 at 18:15 at the Art Cafe (1a rue Beaumont, L-1219 Luxembourg).

People are the greatest asset of any organisation but they can also be the most time consuming… What are your “people” issues? Are you looking for a forum where your thoughts can be shared; even anonymously if you would prefer. The BCC HR Group is here to take forward your ideas, concerns, issues, interests, whatever they may be.

The World Café is a creative process for facilitating collaborative dialogue and the sharing of knowledge and ideas to:-

- create a living network of conversation and action. In this process a café ambiance is created, in which participants discuss a question or issue in small groups around the café tables.

- at regular intervals the participants move to a new table. Each table host remains. Each table is covered in paper to encourage people to right any message they like!

- at the end of the process the main ideas will be summarised by the sub-group committee and shared with the attendees.

The event is limited to 80 attendees and a questionnaire will be sent to the attendees in advance of the event, so that the popular points can become subject for discussion at the tables.  It is envisaged that their will be time for 4 table changes, during the evening.

If you are working in HR, a manager, member of a staff delegation or a person concerned about your own or your company’s people issues; this is an event for you.   The evening will start at 18:15. From 20:30 there will be drinks and canapés and the opportunity to network.

Venue: Art Cafe (1a rue Beaumont, L-1219 Luxembourg).
