On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April 2022, the City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL) is organising a series of creative workshops on the site of the former slaughterhouse (Schluechthaus) in Luxembourg-Hollerich.
The artists Florence Hoffmann and Pascale Behrens will deliver six-hour lessons (one lesson per day), allowing participants aged sixteen or over to discover engraving and frottage techniques.
These creative workshops will take place on 9 and 10 April from 11:00 to 17:00 (both days). Participation is free for participants aged sixteen or over. Registration via email is compulsory: schluechthaus@vdl.lu.
The workshops form part of a large pre-work enhancement and revitalisation programme dedicated to the former slaughterhouse with the objective of implementing, during a test phase, the ideas collected within the framework of citizen participation on the future use of the site
