The University of Luxembourg and Europe Technology & Collective Intelligence for Citizens (ETICC) are organising the first edition of the European Forum for Technology & Sustainable Democracy on Thursday 21 April 2022 at the Maison des Arts et des Étudiants in Esch-Belval, from 07:30 to 20:00.

This national and European conference will open in the presence of Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and the Rector of the University of Luxembourg, Prof. Dr. Stéphane Pallage, with the support of Dubravka Šuica, Vice-President of the European Commission for Democracy and Demography.

This free public conference aims to bring together European actors in participatory democracy: citizens, institutions, members of the academic community, experts, scientists, students, non-profit organisations, startups, CivicTechs and entrepreneurs to take part in discussions around the following issue: "To what extent can technology and civic innovations generate collective intelligence within our European societies and how can collective intelligence be a vector of a sustainable democracy?"
