Luxembourg for Finance is organising its Sustainable Finance Forum, in digital format, on 26 and 27 October 2021 from 10:00 to 12:00.

Climate change and social issues are high on the agenda of governments across the globe. As finance moves to a more central role in powering a sustainable future, it is coming under increasing scrutiny and is process of transition. It is in this context that Luxembourg for Finance will host its 4th annual Sustainable Finance Forum, bringing together experts from across the world to discuss the need to implement global sustainability goals and finance a sustainable future.

The livestream event will include a keynote speech from European Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and the Capital Markets Union, Mairead McGuinness, as well as an interview with Luxembourg's Minister of Finance, Pierre Gramegna.

The first day examines overarching investment trends and participants will discuss whether we are heading towards a global convergence or fragmentation of sustainable finance. Day two then dives into the EU taxonomy and disclosure regulations, examining how these work in practice and their impacts on financial services thus far.
