Details:

The People and Leadership group of the British Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg (BCC) is organising a live webinar entitled "Upskilling Doomed Workforces - Building a Sustainable Workforce for the 21st Century" on Wednesday 15 September 2021 at 12:30.

Few could have forecast how drastically work would change in a mere year or predicted the fundamental changes that think tanks and consulting firms are now scrambling to define. New industries are springing up, capitalising on the potential step-change in rapidly-paced innovation, while others are dying.

This BCC webinar takes the form of a lively and highly topical conversation about mobilising and upskilling sustainable workforces in regions that are home to dying industries and which are trying to ensure a robust and meaningful future for all employees.

Panelists:

  • Laurent Probst, Partner for Economic Development and Digital Transformation and Innovation at PwC
  • Soon Joo Gog, Chief Futurist, Chief Skills Officer and Chief Research Officer at SkillsFuture
  • Christine Dawood, Board Member of the Dawood Foundation & Dawood Hercules Corporation Ltd.
  • Dr Keith Amoss, Professional Career Coach and Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD)

The event will be moderated by Lisa Francis-Jennings, Partner for Leadership Development at Odgers Berndtson.

Participants are invited to send their questions for the panelists via email to info@bcc.lu.
