On Wednesday 16 September 2026, Luxembourg independent business law firm, Arendt & Medernach, officially announced the appointment of Shekhar Guin as Partner within its Investment Management practice, effective since 1 April 2026.
According to Arendt & Medernach, Shekhar Guin advises domestic and international asset managers on the structuring and operation of alternative investment funds and their managers. Having previously spent time in Arendt & Medernach's Hong Kong office advising Asia-Pacific clients on Luxembourg legal and regulatory matters, he brings extensive international experience to the firm's investment management practice.
As part of this development, Shekhar Guin will relocate to Hong Kong and will be appointed Head of the Hong Kong office on 1 January 2027. Together with Philippe Harles, he will co-lead Arendt & Medernach’s APAC practice, supporting clients across the region and further strengthening the firm's presence in one of the world's most dynamic investment management markets.
