On Thursday 15 October 2026, Luxembourg's employment agency (ADEM) reported that an IT security incident had been detected on its job vacancies website (JobBoard) on Wednesday 14 October 2026. As a precautionary measure, the website was immediately taken offline.
According to ADEM, an in-depth analysis is underway by teams from ADEM, the State Information Technology Centre (CTIE) and GOVCERT.LU to determine the exact nature and extent of the incident.
Pending the restoration of access to job vacancies on the ADEM website, jobseekers are being redirected to the EURES portal to search for vacancies. The job vacancy referral system has not been affected by the incident.
The agency stated: "Employers' independent access to candidate profiles is currently unavailable. ADEM teams are making every effort to provide a new solution as soon as possible. ADEM's Employer Service remains available to employers for the search for candidates. The mechanism for employers to declare job vacancies has not been affected by the incident."
ADEM has filed a complaint against persons unknown.
