On Monday evening, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the decision to close France's borders for at least 30 days in light of the coronavirus pandemic; following this decision, Luxembourg's government has issued a certificate required for cross-border workers residing in France.
To facilitate the entry of cross-border workers into Luxembourg during possible border controls, the government has issued a certificate attesting to the need to cross the order between France and Luxembourg for employment reasons. Upon presentation of this certificate, cross-border workers residing in France will be exempt from the restrictions on border crossings between France and Luxembourg.
