Foundry Luxembourg (38 Route d’Esch, L-1469) has announced that it is celebrating women this week, in the lead up to International Women's Day on 8 March, with daily lunch events and free access to its coworking space.
 
Foundry Women's Week, taking place from Monday 2 to Friday 6 March 2020, offers various lunchtime events around business topics. Topics to be addressed by guest speakers and panelists touch on women's right to express themselves through art, entrepreneurial women, modern-day feminism, work-life balance and why to maintain it and gender-biased language.
 
These lunchtime talks are free for everyone to attend.

Presentation by David Büchel, advisor for health and well-being at work at Chambre des Salariés, of the study: "The Quality of Work in Luxembourg." Followed by a panel discussion on:  “Work life balance and aspects on how to prevent burnouts” with François Altwies, Bio- and Neurofeedback trainer, Irene Masiku, Life coach and a Healing Practitioner in Energetic Kinesiology, and Annica Törneryd, Luxembourg Ambassador for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. Moderated by: Patrizia Luchetta, founder of Another Level Creative Group

- Weds. 4 March, 12:00-14:00: How Does Language Define our Perception on Gender?
Presentation by Tatjana von Bonkewitz, Advisor & strategic partner in organisational transformation (Hofstede Insights). Followed by panel discussion and Q&A with women from South Korea, India, France and Finland.

12:00 Talk by Julia Maria Zimmermann, PhD, sociologist: Equality in Luxembourg - Why do we need a Feminist perspective? Followed by a panel discussion with Patrizia Luchetta, founder of Another Level Creative Group, Jannika Salminen, digital-focused communication specialist of MasonBower, Dana Moldoveneau, coaching psychologist and trainer, President of Romanian Women Association and Positive Psychology Luxembourg, and George Penn, communication lead of Volt Europa.
