After over 10 months of negotiations, progress has been made regarding the renewal of a collective agreement in the security sector in Luxembourg.
Luxembourg trade union the LCGB has confirmed that discussions for the renewal of the collective agreement in this sector are advancing, despite some obstacles remaining.
The LCGB had previously formulated concrete proposals in the interest of employees, so as to obtain a fair collective agreement. Now, according to the trade union, employers in the security sector are finally willing to reconsider their position by making improvements regarding increased salaries and marriage and PACS bonuses, an increased bonus for dog handlers and higher premiums for those transporting funds.
Today, the LCGB finallz confirmed that a concrete and written proposal of the preceding elements will be transmitted shortly by the employers as agreed at the last negotiation meeting of 1 October 2018.
Negotiations have been ongoing since December 2017.
