Next up is a look at tertiary education.
Higher education institutions include the University of Luxembourg, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023, and the LUNEX University of Applied Sciences, offering sport- and health-related courses, in Differdange. The Miami University John E. Dolibois European Center (MUDEC), also located in Differdange, serves as an overseas campus of the United States' Miami University.
Sacred Heart University discontinued face-to-face learning on its Luxembourg campus in 2022. People wishing to obtain an MBA in the Grand Duchy can still do so through the Luxembourg School of Business (LSB), the Institut Supérieur de l'Économie (ISEC) Luxembourg or the HEC Liège Luxembourg. Between 2004 and 2020, there was also a collaboration between the Chamber of Employees in Luxembourg and the Open University (UK).
The Université Populaire Luxembourg groups several public institutions to offer training courses for personal development. Other continuing education / vocational training courses are offered via The Second Degree Asbl (in English), the Luxembourg Lifelong Learning Centre (LLLC) and the House of Training, among others.
