Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs has announced that, given the evolution of COVID-19 at the international level, they, together with the Ministry of Health, have confirmed the prolongation of the health measures applicable since 29 January 2021 until 15 May 2021 included, for any travel by air to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Anyone, regardless of nationality, aged 6 or over, wishing to travel by air to Luxembourg, must present upon boarding the negative result (on paper or electronic document) of COVID-19 test (PCR, TMA or LAMP methods), or of a rapid antigen test, performed up to 72 hours before the flight by a medical analysis laboratory or any other authorised body for this purpose. The negative test result must be presented, if necessary, accompanied by a translation, in one of the administrative languages of Luxembourg or in English, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish.
From 1 April 2021, persons traveling by air from a third country will however no longer have to undergo an additional rapid antigen test upon arrival at Luxembourg airport.
The testing obligations applicable to all persons wishing to enter Luxembourg by air are in addition to the temporary restrictions already in place for non-essential travel to the European Union.
In this context, temporary entry restrictions for third-country nationals to Luxembourg are extended until 30 June 2021.
Details concerning these restrictions and the various exceptions are available online at https://covid19.public.lu/fr/voyageurs/visiter-luxembourg.html
