Jason Holt was today announced as the new Nominated Person Flight Operations of Cargolux Airlines.
From 15 October 2015, Jason Holt took up the role from predecessor Wieger Ketellapper, who will concentrate on the development of the planned joint venture airline in Zhengzhou, China. The appointment took effect following the approval of Luxembourg's Civil Aviation Authority.
Having joined Cargolux following his position of Head of Gatwick Operations and Operational Strategy for Easyjet Airlines, Jason Holt had only recently taken up his position as Executive Vice President of Flight Operations at Cargolux.
Prior to his time at Easyjet, Mr. Holt has also occupied various directorships at Virgin Atlantic Airways and British Airways franchise BMED. He holds a UK Airline Transport Pilot's License and is a graduate of the University of London, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Law School.
"It makes good business sense connecting with all of the teams to ensure and understand how we can interact better, listen more attentively to feedback and propose ideas for the future benefit of everyone at Cargolux," said Mr. Holt, who stated it as fundamental to work on strengthening trust within the organisation in what he claimed was the beginning of a new era. "We are working together as a broad business team so we can start to build the platform that gets voices heard and solutions formulated. Trust and passion are the foundation for the future of the organisation".
