Cargolux Italia today announced that it received the 2015 Invest in Lombardy Award at a ceremony in Milan on Monday.
At the Palazzo di Regione Lombardia, Cargolux Italia CEO, Pierandrea Galli, accepted the award on behalf of the Cargolux Group. The award, the second of its kind, honours Cargolux Italia's high value investments in Lombardy over the years.
The event, which featured as special guests Lombardy Region President Roberto Maroni, Unioncamere Lombardia President Gian Domenico Auricchio, and Regional Ministry of Production Activities, Research and Innovation, Mario Melazzini, has attracted high-profile CEOs from both Italy and abroad, along with representatives from a number of Italian banks and institutions. The awards ceremony took place as part of the ten day conference entitled the Invest in Lombardy Days, focusing on enhancing direct investments in the Lombardy Region and Italy more generally.
