Family Play Day Organised for Luxembourg City

This Saturday 7 October 2017, Luxembourg City will host a Family Play Day from 10:00 to 17:00.

Organised by the Ville de Luxembourg’s Centre d’animation pédagogique et de loisirs (Capel), the Cercle Cité, the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg and the Cité Bibliothèque, children and adults alike will have the chance to take part in a family play day this weekend, which will offer a range of fun activities for all the family.

On the agenda are new games, musical instruments and stories as well as the possibility to attend a unique concert of the WAMF training, in which Thorunn Egilsdottir will particpate.

Programme:

- 10:00 to 17:00: board and large wooden games on the ground floor, 1st floor and parvis of Cercle Cité. No age limit.

- 10:30 to 11:30: reading session on the theme of the accordion for children aged 4 to 8 in the great hall of the Cercle Cité. In Luxembourgish. Registration via email: tuffi@vdl.lu or tel.: 4796-2732.

- 14:00 to 17:00: concerts by the Conservatoire student ensembles; presentation of and possibility to try the musical instruments. Entrance to concerts and musical workshops without registration. No age limit.

- 17:00 to 17:45: Closing session in the great hall of Cercle Cité, with a concert by WAMF ("When Airy Met Fairy"). Presentation by Thorunn Egilsdottir, Mike Koster and Thomas Copier. Without registration.

Participation in the Family Play Day will be free of charge.
