The Rotondes Cultural Centre in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie has announced “Open Floor: House Dance” sessions taking place on Wednesday 6, 13 and 20 May 2026 at 19:30 in Studio 4.

The event’s programme will offer informal dance gatherings where participants can practise house dance freely in a ”safe space”. The sessions will bring together amateurs and experienced dancers to share techniques and exchange ideas, sometimes accompanied by a DJ. The event is open to all levels from the age of sixteen.

The Rotondes described House dance as a social dance style performed to house music, combining elements from various disciplines such as salsa, capoeira and breakdance, with a focus on improvisation, fast footwork and rhythmic movement.

The doors will open at 19:00 and the dance floor will be running from 19:30 to 22:00. Participation is free for first-time attendees and members of the organising association KnowEdge.
