The Indian Arts and Cultural Association of Luxembourg (IACAL) has announced it will host a celebration for Holi 2026 (Festival of Colours) on Sunday 10 May 2026, from 11:00 at Parc Gerlache in Differdange.

Holi, the Festival of Colours, is one of India’s most cherished celebrations, marking the arrival of spring and symbolising renewal, joy and the triumph of good over evil. Beyond its religious origins, Holi carries a powerful social meaning. It is a day of equality when social barriers dissolve, forgiveness is encouraged and people come together regardless of age, background or status. The act of applying colour reflects acceptance, harmony and shared happiness.

Traditionally marked by music, dance, festive food, and the playful use of BIO colours, it has become a global celebration bringing people from different cultures together.

IACAL describe the event as a vibrant and family-friendly event open to all, where visitors can enjoy live DJ music, Indian food and drinks, cultural activities, face painting, balloon entertainment, outdoor games. Eco-friendly organic Holi colours will be provided at the venue.
