A non-profit association, Lofy’s Place Asbl, has announced its launch in Luxembourg-Grund district, with activities set to begin on Wednesday 16 April 2026 and a soft opening scheduled for Tuesday 9 June 2026.

This new non-profit cultural initiative dedicated to art, heritage and community projects transforms the former home, garden and studio of Luxembourgish artist Wil Lofy into a creative space, aiming to preserve his legacy while opening the space to new generations of creators and the wider public.

According to Lofy’s Place, rather than functioning as a traditional museum, the new space will be conceived as a living cultural hub with a mission to safeguard Wil Lofy’s works, archives and spirit while fostering creativity, dialogue and artistic practice in an inspiring setting.

The project will unfold in several phases and will include a creative studio space for individual artistic practice, workshops, classes and seminars led by local and international artists, a growing art community and an exhibition space dedicated to Wil Lofy’s work alongside selected contemporary contributions.

From Wednesday 16 April, the centre will launch its first programme of art classes and will open the studio for individual artistic practice in a calm and inspiring environment. Visitors can explore the project, book activities and learn more about opportunities to get involved via the initiative’s official platform.

A soft opening event will take place on Tuesday 9 June 2026 from 16:00 to 19:00.

Under the leadership of Tanya Lofy, the initiative continues the artistic legacy of her father while reimagining the space as a contemporary place for creation and exchange.
