The Jazz Forum Luxembourg (JFL) wraps up its third season in March 2026 with a series of jazz concerts and workshops at the Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg-Merl.
According to JFL, the initiative aims to organise jazz concerts where international stars share the stage with local musicians, while also nurturing young talent by featuring student performers as opening acts. This season introduces three new elements: workshops, a big band evening and a concert for children.
On Monday 2 March, Bob Sneider Trio featuring Chien-Chien Lu wil perform with Bob Sneider (guitar), Marc Demuth (bass), Pit Dahm (drums) and a Taiwanese vibraphonist, percussionist and composer Chien-Chien Lu.
The previous day, on Sunday 1 March, Bob Sneider will hold a workshop from 16:00 to 18:00 at the Centre des Sociétés (36 rue Emile Lavandier, Luxembourg).
On Wednesday 22 April, seventeen-piece big band led by Shauli Einav, will bring together local professionals, Conservatoire professors and Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra members. Featured guests will include Andy Hunter and Daniel Migliosi.
Both concerts will start at 19:30, with a student band opening the evening at 18:30.
Tickets for all concerts are priced at €20.50 (€1.50 with Kulturpass), with free admission for visitors under eighteen (reservation required). Further details and ticket information are available at www.jazzforum.lu.
