The Luxembourg branch of Comhaltas Ceolteóiri Eireann, the Irish music and dance association, has announced an Irish folk music concert will take place on Friday 6 February 2026 at 20:00, at the An Huef cultural centre in Weiler-la-Tour.

The programme will feature renowned box (button accordion) player David Munnelly and acclaimed bouzouki player Macdara Ó Faoláin, who will perform in Luxembourg for the first time during their ongoing European tour.

Both artists have built their partnership “on a foundation of curiosity, similar backgrounds and friendship”. Rooted in traditional Irish music, they draw inspiration from jazz, classical music and other folk traditions from around the world to shape their own distinctive sound.

Tickets cost €15 for adults and €5 for children under twelve years old. Visitors will be able to purchase tickets at the door.
