Between July and September 2025, the “Summer op der Gëlle Fra” (Summer at the Golden Lady) event will also take place in Place de la Constitution, offering many activities for locals and visitors alike. Further details will be made available in due course.

Chronicle.lu asked Mayor Polfer at the City Breakfast if there was any update on the timeline to the closure and redevelopment of Josy Barthel Stadium on Route d’Arlon.  Mayor Polfer stated that the project had not been forgotten but is dependant on the construction of the new athletics stadium in Luxembourg-Hamm which hopefully will be completed by the end of 2028 or beginning of 2029. The recycling centre, located at the Josy Barthel stadium, must also be relocated before further development at the site can take place.
