Cirque de Lux will return to the Glacis in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg and has announced its Christmas performance dates from Saturday 30 November 2024 until Sunday 5 January 2025.

On Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December, the International Circus Festival will take place in the Chapiteaux marquee. Artists, including those from Cirque du Soleil and the Cirque Festival of Monte-Carlo will compete over the course of both days for gold, silver and bronze awards which will awarded by a jury of industry experts to reward exceptional skill, creativity and artistry.

The animal-free Cirque de Lux three-hour circus performances will have an intermission. Two gala evenings are planned for VIP guests with a crémant reception, culinary appetisers and an after-show included in the price.

From Monday 2 December 2024, the Cirque de Lux Christmas show promises to be a magical experience for the entire family. Breath-taking performances, thrilling acts and a family-friendly atmosphere are promised at the annual Christmas edition of the circus. 

International artists including jugglers, stuntmen, tightrope walkers and clowns will perform. According to the organisers, "festive tents, immersed in an infinite sea of lights, transport the public into a magical world of fascination and wonders. A circus show that will also amaze every adult. Combined with this magical Christmas scene and maybe even some Santa Claus surprises, it is a unique party for the whole family". 

The show will be approximately two hours and 30 minutes with an intermission.
