The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) has announced that it is organising the third National Civil Security Day (Journée Nationale de la Sécurité Civile) at Echternach Lake on Sunday 22 September 2024, from 10:00 to 18:00.
Throughout the day, firefighters from Luxembourg and the Greater Region will present their vehicles and equipment to the public on a site which will be closed to traffic. More than 80 vehicles will be on display.
On the agenda are demonstrations and activities for all ages, as members of the public have the opportunity to discover the daily life of the firefighters of Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
