The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has announced that, from 17 July to 1 September 2024, the Grand Ducal Palace will once again open its doors to the general public, offering up to ten guided tours per day in several languages.

The visits will begin in front of the LCTO tourist reception office, located at 30 Place Guillaume II, providing a rare opportunity to explore the official reception rooms, the salons of honour and the works of art exposed there. The tours take 75 minutes and are offered by approved Luxembourg City tourist guides who immerse visitors in the history of the Grand Ducal Family.

As in previous years, ticket sales will allow the LCTO to donate to the “Grand Duke and Grand Duchess Foundation”. The foundation, chaired by Luxembourg’s Grand Duchess, has been committed for more than 40 years to the social, cultural, educational and professional inclusion of the most disadvantaged people, intervening where the usual avenues have been unable to help. The foundation is also committed to helping victims of sexual violence, especially during armed conflict. More information is available at Fondation-Grand-Ducale.lu.

Details of timetables and languages, as well as tickets on pre-sale, are available online at  luxembourg-city.com. In addition to online sales, tickets can also be purchased at the LCTO tourist reception office.

These guided tours form part of the "Summer in the City 2024" programme in Luxembourg City.
