The Sake Company and the Japan Luxembourg Association have announced an English-language event, set to take place on Sunday 9 June 2024 at the Carlitos Comedy Club in Luxembourg-Gare.
Katsura Sunshine, a renowned Rakugo storyteller currently in his fifth year on Broadway, and Luca Cupani, a stand-up comedian in his second year performing together in London's West End, will come to Luxembourg for an evening of laughter and Japanese culture.
The traditional Japanese art of Rakugo is a form of comic storytelling that offers a glimpse into Japan's history and culture. Sake tasting will also be offered during the event, curated by SSA-certified Sake Sommelier Makiko Gräfin von Oberndorff.
The ticket price includes an open bar for sake, with other beverages available at a cash bar.
