On Thursday 2 May 2024, local non-profit organisation Wecitizens announced that it recently orchestrated the launch of its pop-up "Shaker à Impact Positif" (Positive Impact Shaker) at former restaurant Casa Fabiana in Luxembourg-Gare.
The sold-out launch party took place on Tuesday 30 April 2024. According to the organisers, it drew "a diverse crowd of associations, entrepreneurs, businesses and neighbourhood residents" of all ages for an evening of "creativity and social solidarity, exchanging ideas and smiles in an electrifying atmosphere".
Wecitizens reported that the Shaker has emerged as "a catalyst for change, a breeding ground for ideas and a hub for collaboration" with one "clear goal": "to energise the Gare neighbourhood through a myriad of upcoming activities", from coworking and learning to networking. It is aimed at becoming "Luxembourg's new go-to spot for innovative minds".
The Shaker will host two events this month: a coworking evening on Friday 24 May 2024 and a dinner concert on Thursday 30 May 2024. Registration will open "soon", according to the organisers.
