The Luxembourg branch of Comhaltas Ceolteoiri Éireann (Comhaltas Luxembourg) has announced that it is holding a St Patrick's Day Céilí on Saturday 16 March 2024.
This new edition follows the success of the 2023 St Patrick's Day Céilí, which was the first since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will bring people together to celebrate St Patrick's Day in the Cessange cultural centre, with a children's céilí in the afternoon and then another céilí that evening for adults.
On the agenda is live music as well as performances from local Comhaltas musicians and dancers.
Tickets for the children's céilí (14:00-15:30) cost €5 at the door. Free entry for Comhaltas dancers. Tickets for the adults céilí cost €10 at the door; doors open at 19:30, with the céilí dancing starting at approximately 20.00. Cash only bar.
