This coming weekend, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September 2023, Esch-sur-Alzette is organising its fourth annual Familljendag (Family Day).
The event runs on the Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00 at four locations (Rue de l'Alzette, Place de la Résistance; Cour Ecole du Brill; Op der Léier) and offers an entertaining and varied programme suitable for everyone, from the very young to the very old.
Activities range from face painting and bungee trampolines to concerts; and this year there is an open-air cinema on the Place de la Résistance (2 screenings on Saturday, including a French-language projection at 18:00 and Top Gun: Maverick (in English) at 20:10).
The main concert on the Sunday starts at 13:30 and runs until 19:00, featuring various song and dance performances.
There will be a number of stands available, including providing food and drink.
