Luxembourg's cider producer, Ramborn, is organising a Harvest Weekend at the Ramborn Cider Haff (23 Duerfstrooss, Rosport-Mompach) on Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October 2023.
The harvest season is a time of joy, gratitude and community: friends, family and customers are invited to join the Ramborn team in picking the fruits and share their passion, knowledge and appreciation for nature.
The Ramborn team has planned a weekend full of activities, games and delicacies for the whole family who can experience the cider making process from start to finish, and to enjoy some fun activities for all ages.
On both days from 11:00 to 18:00, one can be part of this tradition by picking one's own apples in a nearby meadow orchard - one will be able to buy the fruits one picks directly in the orchard - and by bringing them back to the cidery to see how they are pressed, fermented, matured and blended.
Those participating can also taste the produce and learn more about Ramborn's history and tradition.
On both days, those participating can enjoy delicious food from the local food truck "Haff Wewer", and take advantage of the special deals at the Ramborn Shop.
On Saturday, Born's Fanfare will perform a live concert from 15:30 to 17:00.
On Sunday, children can join the arts and crafts station, by Duerfkanner; music will be provided by a live DJ performance by Dr Gonzo.
In the special Cider Masterclass, participants will learn about the long history of orchards and cider, the different styles of cider, how to taste them and how to pair them with food. The Cider Masterclass will be held on both days. Time, price and registration details to come. Places are limited to fifteen people.
