Independence Day of Ukraine is celebrated annually on 24 August which this year falls on a Thursday; on Saturday 26 August 2023, LUkraine Asbl and UA Days in Luxembourg are organising an event at Hesper Park (Am Keller station, 472 Route de Thionville, L-5886 Alzingen-Hesperange) from 15:00 - 21:00 to celebrate the vibrant spirit of Ukraine.
Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine are warmly welcomed to attend and share in the spirit of this important holiday.
"Unbreakable World of Life and Dreams. A symbol of Freedom and the ability to overcome any obstacles". All of this is about kites, and they will be the theme of this year’s festival on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
Those attending the event will enjoy a variety of workshops for both adults and children, a vibrant photo zone, animated shows and performances, a fair with interesting Ukrainian products, and a delicious food court with favourite Ukrainian dishes and drinks.
In addition, the organisers have prepared a musical surprise, a gift for all fans of Ukrainian music. Invited by LUkraine asbl, the legendary band, the pioneers and main drivers of Ukrainian hip-hop - ТNМК - will visit Luxembourg.
