The Municipality of Miersch (Mersch) and Kolla Asbl have announced details of their new event; Four years after the last Kolla Festival, the Kolla non-profit organisation and the municipality of Mersch are organising the new event "KOLLA X MERSCH" from from 18-20 August 2023, each day until 22:00.

Fri: 15:30 - 22:00
Sat: 11:00 - 22:00
Sun: 11:00 - 22:00

This is a sustainable, free day-long event for families and friends in Mierscher Park. On the programme are concerts with acts from Luxembourg and abroad, animations, workshops and a "clothes bag" (Kleedertosch, see below).

The musical programme consists of local acts (including Serge Tonnar, Packo Gualandris, Miss Sappho, Skibbi) as well as selected performers from abroad: whether hip hop, cumbia, synth pop, electronic music, jazz or ambient, there will be something for every taste.

In addition to the music, there is also a varied entertainment programme (animations and activities) for all ages: yoga for children and adults, board and card games, craft workshops for children, training for dogs, chocolate ceremony, meditation, attention through musical improvisation, anti-racism quiz, Massages, bodypainting, decalcomany with natural colours and much more.

Kolla asbl organises its "clothes bag" every year, where member of the public can bring items of clothing and exchange them with others. Food and drinks are provided by the Kolla crew and local clubs.

From 2013 to 2019, Kolla asbl organised the Kolla Festival. In Mersch, the club is aiming for parents with their children: the idea is to organise a sustainable event to present alternative and environmentally friendly ways of life to the public. With the help of renovated furniture, old decorative objects, a clothes rack, stalls and workshops, the public will be educated/informed about topics of sustainability, sharing, anti-waste initiatives, as well as respect and tolerance.

Free entry.

In Miersch am Park; camping & bonfires on the site are strictly prohibited.
