Simourq asbl, a cultural non-profit organisation for the integration of Persian speakers in Luxembourg, has announced that it is organising another demonstration in support of protesters in Iran on Saturday 19 November 2022 at 16:00; the event will take place in Place Emile Hamilius in Luxembourg-Ville.

This demonstration coincides with a series of global protests by and in support of Iranians around the world - protests sparked by the death of 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini in police custody on 16 September 2022.

A group of Iranians from Luxembourg and Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany will gather this Saturday in memory of the "Bloody Aban" nationwide civil protests, which took place in Iran in November 2019, and to show solidarity with those currently protesting in Iran.

Members of the public are invited to participate in this demonstration but are asked not to use any posters or flyers other than those published by Simourq asbl. Participants are invited to dress for the theme of "Bloody Aban", i.e. to wear red clothes or white clothes stained red or with slogans written (in white and/or red) on them.

This protest is coordinated by the Association of Families of flight PS752 victims (PS752 Justice) and the association of Aban 98 victims over the world.

Donations to Simourq asbl are welcome via bank transfer: CCPLLULL LU49 1111 7051 5461 0000.
