Schueberfouer Closing Fireworks Cancelled Due to Fire Risk

The City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL) has announced that the firework display scheduled to mark the end of the Schueberfouer on Wednesday 7 September 2022 has been cancelled.

The decision to cancel this firework display, which was supposed to take place at 22:00 on Wednesday, follows the negative opinion of the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (Corps grand-ducal d'incendie et de secours - CGDIS) in relation to the increased risk of fire due to the prolonged dry spell in Luxembourg.
