Bee Together, a group of volunteers whose mission is to raise awareness of the importance of pollinators and biodiversity to the environment and our well-being, has announced two upcoming events.
Bee Together is organising two "biodiversity blitzes", one on Saturday 16 July 2022 in Scheierbierg (Bous) and another on Wednesday 20 July 2022 in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, aimed at finding and identifying as many wild plants and animals as possible.
Together, participants will explore the areas to discover what biodiversity is present. For those who are interested, the observations can be recorded to identify them using the iNaturalist smartphone application. Explanations and some ideas on how to help biodiversity will be given along the way.
Both events are open to members of the public free of charge.
