The Place du Théâtre in Luxembourg-Ville will once again be transformed into an urban beach this summer.
On Friday 8 July 2022, the College of Mayors and Aldermen of the City of Luxembourg (Luxembourg-Ville) inaugurated the "Theaterplage", an urban beach set up in the heart of the city as part of the summer entertainment programme "Summer an der Stad" .
Throughout the summer and until 11 September 2022, the Place du Théâtre will benefit from a summer layout and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere: a large sandbox of 350 m2, deckchairs and parasols in "multiplicity" colors, a petanque court, various plants and a colorful decoration with pennants and light garlands. To complete the offer, chalets for catering are also installed.
Participation is free and the area will remain open everyday from 11:00 to 22:00.
