The non-profit organisation Patrimoine Roses pour le Luxembourg has announced that it is organising free entertainment by the “Roseraie Op de Rondellen” in the old town of Luxembourg, below the Cité Judiciaire, on Saturday 26 June 2021, from 14:00 to 19:00. Access is via the Plateau du Saint Esprit, within the framework of the ‘Open Gardens Council of Europe’ and Oppe Gaardepiertchen ’.
14:00: The Rousegaaert Op de Rondellen, a project to enhance the Luxembourg old quarters and fortifications site, Unesco World Heritage. Conference by Dr Robert L. Philippart, Unesco Site Manager Luxembourg, Ministry of Culture.
14:30: guided visit of the rose garden and Luxembourg exhibition - de la fortress aux Roses (French) by Guy Muller.
15:00: choral concert by the Chorales des Faubourgs (from Grennesch Spatzen, Fraternelle Grund and Chorale Ste Cécile Pfaffenthal). Directed by Patrick Colombo.
15:30: guided visit of the rose garden and exhibition Luxembourg - de la fortress aux Roses ’(German / French) by Guy Muller.
