The nature/environment organisation natur&ëmwelt has announced that the traditional Fête de la Nature will unfortunately not be able to take place in 2021 under normal conditions; however, they have found an alternative by calling on the various exhibitors to participate this year in the Festkuerf with an associated raffle.
The 2021 offer is a cloth bag containing local and artisanal products, such as spices, toothpaste, tea, honey, nuts and "zero waste" items from exhibitors and vendors who are present each year at the family celebration. There are also natur&ëmwelt items, such as a deck of cards, a poster, a beeswax canvas, a bird of the year sticker and a bee flower grow kit. To pay homage to the delicious culinary offerings of the Fête de la Nature, one will also find in the basket a cookbook - Kachen a Brachen mat Nëss - and a white wine from Kanecher Wéngertsbierg. The offer is supplemented by various magazines and brochures for young and old.
When purchasing a Festkuerf, one automatically participates in a raffle with many prizes offered by the event's partners. One can win vouchers from Pall Center, Naturwelten and OUNI, aloe vera products, a sheepskin from Schäferei Weber, a co-labor insect hotel, gift baskets with ecological products sponsored by the SuperDrecksKëscht, a gift basket from Biogros, metal figures from Stater Schmatten, an upcycled work of art from Sustained.lu, a subscription to the German magazine Greenpeace, the book E Bléck an eis Natur vun AZ, guided tours and many other gifts valued between €20 and €80. A total of 150 additional tickets will be sold at a price of €5 each. One in eight tickets wins one of the above prizes. The draw will take place on 21 June and the winners will be informed by natur&ëmwelt by e-mail or telephone.
The price of the Festkuerf is €55 and the offer is valid while stocks last. For those only interested in a raffle ticket, they can be obtained using a QR code. With the purchase, one is allowing natur&ëmwelt to launch new projects and awareness campaigns and thus contribute to the active protection of nature and the environment in Luxembourg.
Festkuerfs can be ordered up to 6 June by sending an e-mail to email: reservation@naturemwelt.lu or by calling tel: 290404-1 (please indicate your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address). Following placing an order, one will receive more information about the drive-in, which will be organised at the Maison de la nature from 17 to 19 June.
In this context, natur&ëmwelt is also planning an online offer for the weekend of 19 and 20 June. It will make DIY videos available, as well as information about nature and the environment, in the hope of creating a "party atmosphere" at home, on its social media and YouTube channel.
The traditional Fête de la Nature will return next year with more than 50 sales and information stands.
